Like many things in life, Hungwell began as a solution to a problem. Bruce was traversing North America with his dog Yonni in a trailer and he wanted to have his instruments on the wall to be able to easily access them. Putting them there with a regular guitar hanger would be a bad idea as they would inevitably fall or at least crash into the sides of the trailer. That is where the idea originated and since then it has evolved into the product we want to share with you today.

Fast forward some years, Djordje met Bruce in hopes of purchasing a bass guitar he was selling (since they both happen to play music). Intrigued and captivated by his unique guitar mounts he inquired about them and asked if he sells them only to be told that they should make and sell them together. For many years they worked on the product, constantly changing and evolving it into what it is today, something they are both proud of and pleased with. What originated as a simple solution to a problem ended up being so much more.

Now, years later, we are proud and humbled by how far we’ve come. Over the years we’ve continued to improve and patiently sculpting Hungwell into what it is today. We have been humbled by our journey and want to share it with you, in a way it is the meeting of two different worlds that ultimately helped us create something new and special. Bruce is an all American 74 year old master carpenter and Djordje is a Serbian immigrant to the USA with no prior knowledge in carpentry, and yet together they were able to create something they are both proud of.
